Structural Project Director - Resources

Thisis a senior, highly influential role within our growing Resource Engineeringgroup for an energetic and motivated individual. As a Project Manager andProject Director you will bring a focus on providing leadership and projectmanagement discipline to our clients and internal teams. This is a client,people and project focussed role responsible for delivering proposals andprojects successfully where you will have a direct impact on the continuedsuccess and growth of our resources business.

Thisposition offers a great variety of projects for a diverse range of miningclients and will see you involved in:

  • Managingand delivering a range of complex structural and multi-disciplinary projects, within budget, on time, and to the right quality.
  • Liaisingwith and management of relevant stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Buildingclient relationships and conducting business development activities, includingsite visits and preparation of proposals.
  • Workingclosely with small and large project teams to provide leadership and ensure project requirements are met.
  • Tobe successful in this role, you will bring the following skills, experience andcapability to the team:

  • Demonstratedleadership experience in the successful delivery of studies and detail designsfor brownfields projects for Australian mining clients across a range of commodities.
  • Experiencewith both Process and Non-Process Infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of structural design andfundamentals.
  • Solid understanding project governancestructures, project controls and risk management.
  • Experience of both providing strategic andtechnical recommendations for opportunities and bids
  • Experience writing and crafting winningproposals
  • Demonstrated ability to listen to and understandthe client and effectively interpret client requirements to determine the scopeof services required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in similar roleand industry.
