The role is based at the mutual bank's head office in Wollongong. Flexible work arrangements are available including the potential to work 1 day a week from home. Key responsibilities: Providing day to day legal advice to business units across all channels and product areas, including with respect to regulatory change; Assisting the maintenance of regulatory compliance policies, procedures and systems; handling complex complaints and disputes; reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts; and Acting as the legal representative on key projects within the bank. About you: +4 years PQE Excellent technical legal skills; Demonstrated and successful experience in retail banking background in a legal environment, either in-house or in private practice; Brilliant oral and written communication skills; and Experience within consumer credit will be highly desirable.
