About the role

The Senior Contracts Administrator is responsible for the procurement and administration of goods, materials and services are of a high quality, Deliver the commercial, financial and contractual commitments of the CDO and projects, providing commercial, finance and contractual support to the Commercial Manager and Program Alliance manager. 

  • Conduct preliminary commercial evaluation for tenders from subcontractors and ensure financial, commercial and contractual requirements are adhered to.
  • Prepare agreements for Contracts for supply of materials and services. 
  • Manage Project procurement and prepare Sub-Contract and Supply Agreements
  • Ensure activities comply with Government Acts, statutory regulations and ethical standards. 
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of legal and compliance documentation 
About You 

You will thrive on stepping up to a problem others couldn’t take on, or an opportunity that inspires new solutions. Ideally you will have: 

  • Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying or similiar discipline
  • Strong communications skill (oral & written)
  • Proven experience in Vendor and Subcontractor Management
  • Experience in commercial evaluation of tenders, and appraise bids by working closely with Project Managers
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, to train and develop direct reports
  • Proven experience in Contracts Administration
  • Exposure to Claims / Variations
