Indigenous Workstars has an opportunity for any candidates that are wanting to gain work in the Business sector. This pre-employment program is designed for job seekers and aims to improve employment opportunities by providing the necessary entry level skills for participants wanting to gain work in the business and call centre sectors.
No cost to participants for training
Eligibility criteria applies:
A Queensland Resident Aged 15 years or older Meet Australian Residency requirements Committed to undertaking a 10 week (unpaid) employment readiness and certificate II in Business program
Program commences in Jan 2019 and will run for approximately 10 weeks followed by 2 weeks work experience. The program will cover key skills required in the business and call centre sectors including:
Typing speed and accuracy Information handling Business comprehension Customer service Phone skills
The course is proudly funded by the Queensland Government under its Skilling Queenslanders for Work Initiative
